Our strong scientific background in corrosion protection is appreciated by the journal “Applied Sciences” published by MDPI, as our colleague has the honor to be guest editor of the special issue entitled “Research of Coatings for Corrosion Protection”.
Additively manufactured components made of light metals such as aluminum, titanium or magnesium offer enormous degrees of freedom in geometry and complexity. Our Ultraceramic® finishing can protect such individual components from corrosion in the long term.
It was a pleasure to present our results on laser patterned ceramic and hybrid surfaces for friction and wear minimization.
With the DLIP (Direct Laser Interference Patterning) strategy, we can further increase the positive properties of our surfaces in the direction of friction and wear minimization.
