Lotus effect for surgical instruments

Hybrid ceramic surfaces.

In our ZIM-funded project, hybrid surfaces that provide titanium surgical instruments with a lotus effect that creates a self-cleaning effect, are being developed.

This project takes place in cooperation with the Ruhr University of Bochum.
