Dynamic Performance
Parts that are strained under motion must be especially dynamically resistant. An aircraft’s wing, for example, is dynamically loaded during the flight by wind and cold – in addition to its own weight.
ELB’s micro-crosslinked CERANOD® nanostructured surfaces are among the five hardest materials in the world. However, the atomic bond between the layer and the component leads to a surface that withstands vibrational loads without being brittle.
