WOMAG: ceramization of light metal for extreme surface requirements

CERANOD® plasma ceramic is a technology for the surface treatment of light metal alloys and is preferably used for aluminum and magnesium alloys. The process significantly improves the durability of components as the ceramic surface is extremely resistant to corrosion and wear. Even follow-up treatments can often be reduced, so that there is significant cost-cutting potential.
